Pirate101 Beta & My New Blog (sorta)!!!

IT'S FINALLY HERE!!! Closed Beta for Pirate101 has finally been released to the public!
Exciting right!? If you have been up to date with the Pirate101 news, you will notice that Kingsisle has announced that the emails with Beta Keys started being sent out today and will continue to be sent out over the course of the next 2 weeks. Do note that if you get into Beta, you are not allowed to release any information about it because that would spoil the surprise for the community. Do not fret if you didn't get a beta key because the Pirate101 Facebook page and the AMD Facebook page are both giving beta keys throughout the week so make sure to check them constantly for updates.



As you may have noticed, I have an entirely new layout for my blog. Why so? I chose to do this because I wanted to branch away from just a Wizard101 blog with tidbits of Pirate101 info to a duel Wizard101/Pirate101 blog with double the Kingsisle action! This means I will now have posts about Pirate101 and Wizard101. How will you differentiate between them? You will be able to do so by going to the bottom of the page. Once there, you will see something that looks like this:

I know I don't have all the previous Pirate101 information on my blog so far but I know what is happening and you can trust that I will keep you updated many times throughout the week with posts regarding both Wizard101 and Pirate101. Anyways, feel free to look around the blog and all the new stuff I have to offer!

In addition to everything, I will finally be getting a domain for my blog either tonight, tomorrow, or within the next couple of days. Then, I hope to apply to become an official blogger for Pirate101. I know this would mean posting at least once a week and keeping up in the loop with all things Pirate101 and many other responsibilities but I feel that I am ready for this. One of my quotes I have said before and I will continue to say is "You cannot spell fansite without FAN". This goes to say that if you run a blog or fansite, it should be because you love to do it and you do it for your readers. Not because you hope to get "well-known" from it or get any special privileges from it. It should be because you care and you want to give back to the community.  In my case, that is exactly what I hope to do. The community has always been like a second home for me and I consider many of you like family and I started my blog mainly to give back to the community for all you have given me. I just wanted to say thank you for everything you have done for me and supporting me and my blog through everything. It truly means a lot to me :) Without you guys, I would never have hit a whooping 53,000 views a few days ago and I just want to say thanks for not giving up on me and continuing to read my blog :)
