Hey guys!As you know, KingsIsle recently mailed out a replica of Marco Pollo's in-game map to players who bought crowns or a subscription in the past month. I have been lucky enough to get a few of these codes and I used one of them already so I figured, why not give the other one away to my amazing blog readers :) Do you want to know how to win this exclusive companion? This companion, Fa Lung, starts at your current level. He has nice health and decent damage. It's a really exclusive companion that you can only get from the map codes.Here is how you can win your very own Ninja Pig companion.

DeleteI'm pretty sure the companions are at or close to the level of your pirate when you redeem the code.

DeleteNo, Sorry not trying to argue, you really should check, like i did when I started my contest. My reliable source,a P101 wikimaster, tells me its the level of your pirate and you can watch my video to see a level 19 redeem his code, his pig was a level 20. http://youtu.be/U164Rodg284 Try asking John Lifeglen on twitter, if you know him. I'm sure he'd know.

DeleteNo problem, I was so excited when I saw that level 20 and thought- how awesome that they are all level 20! It seemed too good to be true (for low levels anyway), would KI really give level 20 companions to both level 1 and level 50 pirates? That didn't make sense. So I asked around. All pigs below level 18 will already have the first strike talent. Ninja Pigs are eligible for promotion at level 17 and level 46. It will cost 1700 gold to promote. If you redeem between level 17 and 46, you can promote immediately. The level you get is usually "rounded up" to the next level above you.

DeleteThat's really a tough call cause there's SO much to the game...I'd have to say that Ships and Companions are my favorite part of P101 (and my orchid chameleon that I got yesterday ;))
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the orchid chameleon! The ships are one of my favorite parts as well because it gives a unique way of travel aside from just mounts.
