Happy Thanksgiving! | Contest Winners Announced! | I'm Leaving For Good...
Thanksgiving 2012. What an amazing year it has been thus far. I have made many new friends in the community as well as gotten to learn so much from our amazing leaders. I am sad to say this but I must leave the community once again but this time, for good. I have finally decided that it is more important to work on my schooling and focus on my IRL life so I can be successful in life. Don't get me wrong, I loved Wizard101 and Pirate101, but I just don't have the time for them anymore. This thanksgiving, I want to say thanks for a few things.

Thank you to all my friends who have stuck by my side through my time in the community.Thank you to each and everyone of you for making the community what it is today.

I am so lucky to have been a part of this amazing community for the past 2 years and I am so honored to have worked with so many of you on many different things and it really has impacted my life for the better. I don't want to blabber on forever like I did in my first Closing Down & Quitting For Good post, but you all have impacted my life in one way or another and for that, I thank you.
As I am typing this, I really don't know how to put my feelings into words because the way you have all impacted me is just so strong and has shaped me to be the mature person I am today. You have all taught me leadership skills, management skills, and people skills which I know will help me for the rest of my life.
I just wanted to take this moment to thank you for the amazing ride and the great times we have shared.
Now, onto the contest. As you know, I was originally giving out 5 exclusive Ninja Pig companion codes but then I added a $10 Pirate101 Gift Card when I reached 200 followers but seeing as I am now leaving, I decided to spoil you all one last time and I added a $20 Wizard101 Gift Card! DeleteThis came as a complete shock to me - whether by what your posts suggested to me or simple misinterpretation, I assumed you'd only be leaving for a short time. As others have said, it's always sad to see someone go, and there's no question that despite what I might have helped you with, you've done an incredible amount for me, whether through our private conversations, helping each other out, or simply using one another as a back-up support system, more so than many others in the community.
ReplyDeleteI'll be sad to see you go, but I hope your legacy doesn't end here. Just as bloggers know that some of their "hidden gem posts" get buried, and occasionally resurface with the attraction of a new post, hopefully your blog can act as one with continued relevance to the community that you've done so much for, and here and there us #twizards and #twizards, and parts of various other groups, might just slip your blog or blog posts a mention, because this blog is pretty darn attractive if I do say so myself (Hehe), and you are one of the bloggers who really figured out what blogging was. I knew that you did it because you enjoyed it, because that was reflected in your posts. You weren't one to slap a few paragraphs from an article down and "call it good," you invested some deal of time into your blog, and it's extremely evident that you cared about it.
Blaze, you're one of the "pures" which is an odd way of saying that you just got along with everyone, or at least gave us the impression that you did, and that's definitely better than I've done.
As a final word, I'm glad you chose to be a part of the community, because, as I mentioned, it might have done something for you, but you definitely gave back. I wish you the best of luck in your journey, wherever in the Spiral you might be.
P.S. I see you figured out how to remove that irritating verification on comments. Swordroll approves. :P

DeleteEven though I play Wizard101 very little now because I've moved on to other games and other hobbies, I still check Kingsisle blogs daily, because even though I don't play the games much anymore, this community has never ceased to amaze.
