A New Year. A New Site. 2015.
On a brighter note, as the title may hint, I have a huge surprise for you guys in the upcoming 2015 year. Are you curious as to what it may be? Let me give you a few details that are sure to keep you on the edge of your seat.
Two years ago when I did the first huge site revamp, it was some time after Pirate101 came out and I was really working hard to make the site primarily P101 themed and content wise. Now-a-days, I rarely ever play P101 as I just don't have the time for both except for a party here and there. I have wanted to redo Tales of the Spiral for many months but never had an idea for what to do or how to do it. To be completely honest, I wasn't sure if I should keep blogging as I didn't have much content except for the usual updates on what was new but then again everyone would post that. I'm currently level 72 and have a long ways to catch up so it's impossible to post about questing in the newer worlds. I had nearly given up when I was discussing all of this with Alric Ravensinger and he decided that I need a new angle for my blogging. Something no one else in the community writes about or has even tampered with.
While I would love to say more on what my new blogging angle is and what I have in store for the site, it would ruin the surprise. Starting this Friday, December 19th at 12:00am PST, Tales of the Spiral will be set to private as I start this whole renovation. During this time, I will be completely remodeling the site (yes that includes fixing this annoying font), brainstorming tons of new content for you guys such as new segments plus tons of other cool things. Tales of the Spiral will return to public viewing on Thursday, January 1st at 12:00pm PST.
What I have in store for you is like nothing you have seen in the community thus far. I cannot thank Alric enough for the help he has given me in finally figuring out how to revamp TotS and bring new content to you all. I will still be active on Twitter so make sure to stay up to date on all that's going on by following me bellow.
With that being said, I would like to wish a Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanzaa and a Happy New Year to you all.
See you in 2015!
