Relaunch Party Recap
Four full realms. Five hours of partying.Over 8,000 crowns worth of givaways. I guess you could say the relaunch party was quite the success!
Wizards from near and far gathered in the commons at 12pm for Edward Lifegem's Easter Bunny Run. Prismatic and Stormrider Hare's filled up Wizard City as they pranced throughout the various streets. The run came to an end in Ravenwood. Following a quick realm switch, the Tales of the Spiral Relaunch Party began!
Pyromancers, Necromancers, Diviners oh my! Port Buses were added, Wizards began to teleport and the Sultan's Palace started to fill up by the second. It was like a fireworks display on the Fourth of July with all the different school symbols appearing simultaneously. Sherlock Bones had made a recent discovery that playing Zeke's Scavenger Hunt at the start of a party was the key to success and low and behold, he was right!
Everyone raced to the PvP Arena as giant sloths, gryphons, dragons and hare's frolicked around. Some people had even managed to tame the dragons, becoming masters of their craft.
As the hours passed, Fire Elf's had taken over, burning all Wizards in their sight. Alas, there was always one Wizard who was exceptionally good at hiding and was able to wait out the Fire Elves. For these numerous Wizards, hoard packs a plenty rained from the heavens, showering them with mounts, gear and treasure cards to their heart's content.
We had Wizard101 Trivia along with a screenshot contest where Wizards could tweet their photos from the party using #ShadowhornScreenshot and enter to win a hoard pack of their choice. I must say, you guys are really good at taking your screenshots! I might have to learn a thing or two from you. I wanted to showcase all the amazing screenshots you guys sent in so check them out!
Following this, I wanted to do something to bring our community together. The Wizard101 community has always been apart of my life and I love talking about why it means so much to me however, I wanted to find out why it means so much to others. I encouraged individuals to tweet out why they love the community using #TwizardAppreciation and I'm so glad I did. The responses truly touched the heart and made me realize what an amazing community we truly have. I now encourage you, yes you, to go tweet why you love the Wizard101 community by using #TwizardAppreciation. Let's get #TwizardAppreciation going all around the Spiral, are you in?
I just want to say thank you to everyone who came out for the party. It's been three years since I've been back and seeing how many people took time out of their busy days to come join meant the world to me. Thank you for your support and I hope you join me for the rest of my tales of the Spiral.
I'll see you in the Spiral :)
