Ten Little Pirate Boys (Contest)

Yo ho, yo ho, a Pirates life for me. 

Recently, I had to read the novel And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie for English class. It is a murder mystery book which really makes the reader think and overall, it was an outstanding book. You may be asking yourself, what is Blaze getting at? Let me tell you. There is a nursery rhyme in the novel that talks about 10 little indian boys who end up getting knocked off one by one. I decided it would be interesting to write one for Pirate101. The original nursery rhyme is called Ten Little Indian Boys but mine is called Ten Little Pirate Boys. Needless to say, it will take some thinking but there will be a contest at the end.

P101 Goes Live!

Pirate101 Head Start!

Four days ago, Pirate101 was released to all those who played in beta, bought a bundle, or who got a membership. As I walked into Avery's room, I was astounded as to how many people I found in there! It was sooooo cramped! It was so nice to see all the new players and see how everyone was so excited to play Pirate101.
 I also changed my flag colors to Black and Gold and made my symbol Horus, the Hawk God in Egyptology. I loved the color choices and I got some new gear from Fin Dorsal which has really good stats. Anyways, enough about me, let's talk about the head start as a whole!

Beta Prize Announced!

Did you play in Pirate101 Beta? Well if you did, then you are able to get this limited edition one of a kind eye patch! Anyone who played in beta can wear it as there is no level restriction and it is classified as No Trash, No Sell, and No Auction (yes Shared Bank) so you will never accidentally delete it.

Another amazing part is that it comes with a card with the Rouse healing power! This will definitely come in handy to all of us Beta Pirates in tough situations. Did you know that the star symbol on the patch will never be replicated on any other eyepatch in game? EVER? Kingsisle said that it will let everyone know that you played in Beta.

I really love this outstanding and classy idea by Kingsisle and I must say, we should be thanking them for all their hard work in making Pirate101 possible so thank you Kingsisle! It was a pleasure to play in Beta and I am sure all the Beta Testers will agree that you did an amazing job making it happen.

A Thaumaturge Reborn & Trivia Tuesday!

You may remember him from when  he first started his travels in the Spiral. Maybe from this post? That's right! This is Blaze Shadowhorn from Wizard101 UK!

Recently, I have been working on leveling him up and so far, he is level 6. In a few hours time, I was able to get him through all the Unicorn Way and Olde Town quests and side quests. He currently is in Triton Avenue but almost done.

Remember The Fallen

Eleven years ago, two airplanes crashed into the World Trade Centers in New York, one airplane crashed into the Pentagon in Washington D.C., and the final airplane crashed into a field in Pennsylvania. Many people died that day and today we honor the fallen.

Please take a moment to think about the lives lost which included the victims on the planes, the first-responders, the firefighters, medical specialists, and all the men and women who risked their lives to save the lives of others.

I would like to take a moment to say a special commemoration prayer.

New Jaguar Mount!

(apparently this post never posted earlier this morning when it was supposed to... weird...)

Yesterday, Kingsisle released the newest mount in Wizard101. Introducing, the Jaguar! This mount, compared to the other feline mounts, is only 6,500 crowns for the permanent mount! A 7 day rental of it is only 2,000 crowns! Like most mounts, it has 40% increase speed and it looks pretty epic!

I for one am not the biggest mount collector (especially since I play with crowns and I have little to spend) but I suggest you all go out and get it! It is really cool looking and I feel like it is going to be a huge hit especially since it only costs 6,500 crowns.

Pirate101 Review

Ahoy there readers!

Recently, i'v been off and on in Pirate101. I'v gotten to add many people like Edward Lifegem, Autumn Dreamwalker, Kelsey Fireheart, Destiny Soultammer, Jordan Sunflame and toms of other people. I must say, KI has gone above and beyond my expectations for P101. The log in screen alone is one of a kind and totally epic! Not to mention once you click the "Play" button the short film it shows after the Kingsisle logo xD In addition to all that, the combat is uber easy to figure out and it is amazing!!! I love the layout and everything and all the detail KI put into it.

I love how when your creating your character the different interactions you do when choosing your class and how you can customize your flag. I find it very neat and it gives every pirate the opportunity to be unique. How about the companions? Ships? Outfits? Keep reading to find out!

Everything you need to know about: Valencia

   Hello all ye pirates, today I will be tellin ye the tale the distant land called Valencia. Okay, no more pirate lingo for me let's get down to the real news. Valencia is the beautiful land that is full of rich art, science and music. Most of Valencia revolves around culture and how the people there flourished with these aspects. Many photo's of large Valencia Pieces have been taken though no one is sure what they do. The city is well built though I have a feeling that this will fall quickly do to the arrival of Kane and his armada. Kane is a robot also known as clockwork in Wizard101 and now Pirate101 (evidence: "The recent invention of Clockworks was a wonder, whose full impact has yet to be seen" (Pirate101.com/valencia). Kane seems to look much like, to me personally, the Phantom of the Opera. He really doesn't though I just think the mask looks similar. I think it might be kinda weird if the main villain in the Pirate101 story arch was singing man in a mask. Kane and his armada seem to have gotten minds of their own and are planning evil things behind the Valencian's backs. Speaking of Valencians I should describe what and who they are.

Everything You Need To Know About: Cool Ranch

   Pirate101 has released several official worlds along with the main hub of Skull Island. No one has heard however of the secret worlds Kingsisle remained unconfirmed. So far there is one "Unidentified World"and that is Polaris. Although Polaris seems to play a huge role in the storyline and has more information it has little pictures and or video of it's actual existence. Cool Ranch however has to be put together by the pieces of evidence you needed to collect from various websites and the video. I happen to have all the evidence in this post so no bother looking. I will link my source however after.
   To prove Cool Ranch to be real I would just like to take a quote from a article that has been on IGN and the Pirate101 website, "Visit far-away lands such as Skull Island, Cool Ranch, and Valencia while undertaking hundreds of quests along the way". The pieces of evidence seem to be the only logical descriptions of the world. Since most of the worlds in Wizard101 and Pirate101 make sense to their name. Cool Ranch sounds like a western world filled with cowboys and ranches and "Hey would you look at that, cowboys? Native American tipis with Buffalo men inside?" To me this isn't a coincidence. I believe that this is really Cool Ranch and even though it sounds like a salad dressing is a Western American themed world that is based in a Rocky Mountain type area. Most desert areas in video games often use these types of light brown mountain rocks as background which is what seems to be. The world itself is hidden but we can see a lot of new faces.
