Ahoy there readers!

Recently, i'v been off and on in Pirate101. I'v gotten to add many people like Edward Lifegem, Autumn Dreamwalker, Kelsey Fireheart, Destiny Soultammer, Jordan Sunflame and toms of other people. I must say, KI has gone above and beyond my expectations for P101. The log in screen alone is one of a kind and totally epic! Not to mention once you click the "Play" button the short film it shows after the Kingsisle logo xD In addition to all that, the combat is uber easy to figure out and it is amazing!!! I love the layout and everything and all the detail KI put into it.

I love how when your creating your character the different interactions you do when choosing your class and how you can customize your flag. I find it very neat and it gives every pirate the opportunity to be unique. How about the companions? Ships? Outfits? Keep reading to find out!

Hello there Wizards and Pirates of the Spiral. It is I, Blaze Shadowhorn reporting to you live from my blog. Recently I helped Blaze Dragonhorn with his new blog Adventures of the Spiral and together we built it up from the scratch. Introducing Brave Blaze Lawson & In-Game Photos

Avast ye mateys! Tis I, Blaze Shadowhorn or more recently known as Brave Blaze Lawson of the Buccaneer Class.


So I finally got Pirate101 to download thanks to the always friendly, Friendly Necromancer (aka Thomas Lionblood aka our P101 Community Head). I created a Buccaneer Pirate like I said I would and i'v loved everything so far. Here are some photos of me in-game and battling etc.

Everything you need to know about: Valencia

   Hello all ye pirates, today I will be tellin ye the tale the distant land called Valencia. Okay, no more pirate lingo for me let's get down to the real news. Valencia is the beautiful land that is full of rich art, science and music. Most of Valencia revolves around culture and how the people there flourished with these aspects. Many photo's of large Valencia Pieces have been taken though no one is sure what they do. The city is well built though I have a feeling that this will fall quickly do to the arrival of Kane and his armada. Kane is a robot also known as clockwork in Wizard101 and now Pirate101 (evidence: "The recent invention of Clockworks was a wonder, whose full impact has yet to be seen" (Pirate101.com/valencia). Kane seems to look much like, to me personally, the Phantom of the Opera. He really doesn't though I just think the mask looks similar. I think it might be kinda weird if the main villain in the Pirate101 story arch was singing man in a mask. Kane and his armada seem to have gotten minds of their own and are planning evil things behind the Valencian's backs. Speaking of Valencians I should describe what and who they are.

Everything You Need To Know About: Cool Ranch

   Pirate101 has released several official worlds along with the main hub of Skull Island. No one has heard however of the secret worlds Kingsisle remained unconfirmed. So far there is one "Unidentified World"and that is Polaris. Although Polaris seems to play a huge role in the storyline and has more information it has little pictures and or video of it's actual existence. Cool Ranch however has to be put together by the pieces of evidence you needed to collect from various websites and the video. I happen to have all the evidence in this post so no bother looking. I will link my source however after.
   To prove Cool Ranch to be real I would just like to take a quote from a article that has been on IGN and the Pirate101 website, "Visit far-away lands such as Skull Island, Cool Ranch, and Valencia while undertaking hundreds of quests along the way". The pieces of evidence seem to be the only logical descriptions of the world. Since most of the worlds in Wizard101 and Pirate101 make sense to their name. Cool Ranch sounds like a western world filled with cowboys and ranches and "Hey would you look at that, cowboys? Native American tipis with Buffalo men inside?" To me this isn't a coincidence. I believe that this is really Cool Ranch and even though it sounds like a salad dressing is a Western American themed world that is based in a Rocky Mountain type area. Most desert areas in video games often use these types of light brown mountain rocks as background which is what seems to be. The world itself is hidden but we can see a lot of new faces.

I’m here to announce the NDA on Pirate101 Beta has been officially lifted. This means that you may now freely talk about the game without any worries. If you’re in the Pirate101 Beta, feel free to share pictures, talk about your characters, and discuss the game to the fullest. Your exciting reviews of Pirate101 continue to make us feel we have an exceptional game on our hands.

As a note, please keep in mind that Pirate101 is still in its Beta stage of production. Be aware that things are still subject to change while discussing Pirate101. If you play in the Beta, you will definitely still run into bugs and will still find there are some balance issues with the game that are not perfect yet. If Pirate101 was a bug free product at this time, we’d be launching the game today! 

Keep up the good work, Beta testers! Please continue to provide us with your excellent feedback and stay positive despite the balance issues. You may find yourself frustrated at points while you play through the beta and encounter content that is either too easy or too difficult, but be assured that we are listening and will provide you with an excellent game when Pirate101 is released." -One-Eyed Jack 

WOOT WOOT!!! Sadly after 3 days of not being sent my confirmation email, I entered the code again and got confirmed in 5 minutes! But now my internet browsers won't let me load the special page :/

Everything You Need To Know About: Monquista

  The land of Monquista is a great empire ruled by primate primitives. High class, and highly decorative these mammals though rich and powerful have huge egos. Monquista is a somewhat African looking world in the spiral which has only the confirmed Monkey/Ape species living there. It is very mountainous and there is little green plant life other than the small amount of green in the leaves of the trees. The government in Monquista is a Monarchy ruled by a king and queen. Both wear elaborate clothing and use the finest gems in their accessories. Along with the costly gems in the royal attire there is also the crown of the king made of gold. Normal monquistans also have hairstyles and clothing that stands out from other worlds. Most female monquistans have very tall hair styles that stand above their forehead and are about twice the size of their bodies. Other monquistans are merchents and what looks to be monks which are bald and are seen aiding pirates as companions.

I got into Closed Beta!!! I haven't gotten the chance to play yet because I am awaiting the response from Legends of the Spiral but yay :D


Do remember, if you get in, DO NOT release any information about it because that goes against the NDA and you will get banned from Pirate101 and it can start lawsuits.

Avast ye mateys! Tis I, (Buccaneer) Blaze. As you all know, Pirate101 has gone into Closed Beta already with people claiming they have gotten in yet they cannot release any information regarding it due to the NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement). Basically, if you get in, all you can say is "I'm in, and it's cool, but I can't give any details." We are already seeing this pop up all over the Spiral and the second wave of beta keys should be sent out today. There are 2 more weeks left for beta keys to be sent out and then that is it. Don't forget that you can check the Pirate101 Facebook Page and the AMD Gaming Facebook Page for chances to win beta keys. Now to play Pirate101 you have to be a true pirate. Arr ye a true pirate? IT'S FINALLY HERE!!! Closed Beta for Pirate101 has finally been released to the public!

Exciting right!? If you have been up to date with the Pirate101 news, you will notice that Kingsisle has announced that the emails with Beta Keys started being sent out today and will continue to be sent out over the course of the next 2 weeks. Do note that if you get into Beta, you are not allowed to release any information about it because that would spoil the surprise for the community. Do not fret if you didn't get a beta key because the Pirate101 Facebook page and the AMD Facebook page are both giving beta keys throughout the week so make sure to check them constantly for updates.

J-Todd Coleman Details P101 and Talks About Expansion

Hey guys! So if you haven't heard about it yet, Forbes.com has released another article involving the Pirate101 Co-Producer  J-Todd Coleman and details for Kingsisle's newest MMO release, Pirate101. In this article, Mr. Coleman first talks about how in the future, Kingsisle will expand far beyond the "101" franchise and how competitors won't be able to match Kingsisles games.
